NextMailSM is a walkie-talkie version of SkyMail available from Sprint Nextel Corp. and Nextel Partners, Inc. nationwide.

MANAGEMENT TEAM

 

Brian D. McAuley,Chairman
Brian is a world class entrepreneur with extensive experience in start-up businesses.   Most recently he was President and CEO of NeoWorld Communications since he founded NeoWorld in 1999.   NeoWorld was sold to Nextel Communications, Inc. during January 2003. Prior to NeoWorld Mr. McAuley co-founded Nextel Communications, Inc. and was its President from 1987 to 1995.  For both NeoWorld and Nextel, Mr. McAuley was personally involved in:  1) developing the financing and business plans and strategies to be employed, 2) making acquisitions, 3) raising capital, and 4) in the day-to-day operations of these telecommunications start-up companies.

From 1982 to 1986, Mr. McAuley served as Senior Vice President and Director of Millicom Incorporated, a company formed to participate in cellular telephone licensing and operations.  Other career experiences include being Vice President of Robert's Foods, Corporate Controller of Norton Simon, Inc. and a Manager at the accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche.  Mr. McAuley has a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Adelphi University and is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of various finance and telecommunications industry organizations.

 

John C. Pescatore, President and Chief Executive Officer
John is a seasoned business executive with over 14 years of management experience.  He has particular

expertise with start-up and rapidly growing companies.  Most recently, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of NeoWorld Communications Inc. since November of 2000.  Prior to that, Mr. Pescatore was Executive Vice President of Operations with Expanets, Inc.  Expanets was one of the fastest growing voice and data communications solutions and services companies in the United States.  They became the nation's leading provider of voice communications solutions to middle market companies through acquiring and integrating businesses throughout the United States.   He was one of the key architects in building Expanets and saw the business through enormous growth by strategic acquisitions.

Prior to Expanets, Mr. Pescatore was with Nextel Communications, Inc. for approximately ten years.   He began his career with Nextel in 1989, where he held various senior leadership positions at the corporate level including Director of Operations, Vice President of Operations, President of Nextel's analog division and President of the New York Area digital services.

Mr. Pescatore joined Nextel from Deloitte & Touche where he was employed as consultant with specific expertise in telecommunications.  He earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from New York University and is also a Certified Public Accountant.  Mr. Pescatore is also on the Board of Directors of Pacific DataVision.

 

Richard E. Rohmann, Executive VP
Prior to co-founding the Company, Mr. Rohmann served from 1987 to 1995 as Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Asset Management for The Lomas Santa Fe Group, a privately held $140 million real estate owner/developer.  Prior to that he served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of HomeVest Real Estate Securities, a $70 million subsidiary of a $13 billion publicly held financial institution.  He holds an MBA in finance from San Diego State University and a Bachelor's degree in mathematics, chemistry, and biology from the

University of Colorado, where he was a Boettcher Scholar.  Mr. Rohman is also on the Board of Directors of Pacific DataVision.

 

Frank Creede, Chief Technical Officer
Mr. Creede was formerly the Chairman, President, & CEO of Logic Innovations, Inc., a division of U.K. based

Xyratex Ltd. Logic Innovations, which provides data broadcasting products and development services, was

founded by Frank in 1986 and acquired by the former division of IBM in 1999.  Frank managed the revenue growth of the Logic Innovations business with no outside capital to $8M before sale to Xyratex and as an independent subsidiary of the $250M parent company through 2002.  Frank is an active angel investor in Southern California emerging high tech companies and a Member of the San Diego Tech Coast Angels.   Frank is also a Partner and Founder of Staffing Innovations, LLC, a technical contract outsourcing business headquartered in San Diego.  Frank holds a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering from UC Davis and has completed coursework for the MBA program at San Diego State University.

 

Steven J. Schreiber, Vice President - Business Operations
Mr. Schreiber is a senior executive with over 20 years of successful operating experience within several emerging and rapid-growth technology companies.  Most recently he served as Managing Partner for Woodcliff Partners, LLC, a management-consulting firm focused on advising small to mid-sized companies.   Prior to that Mr. Schreiber served in a senior executive role with Expanets, Inc., a leading provider of voice communication solutions to middle market companies.  At Expanets he played both an advisory and operational role assisting the company to execute a roll-up of 12 business entities of varying sizes with over $375 million in sales and 350 associates.  Before that he worked for Nextel Communications for six years in various general management and operational roles; in his last role he served as Vice President of National SMR Operations with responsibility for a $30 million business with over 200 associates.   Mr. Schreiber has an undergraduate degree in Economics from the State University of New York at Binghamton - Harpur College, and an MBA in Finance from New York University's Stern School of Business.

 

Ann Poh, Vice President, Controller
Ms. Poh is a Certified Public Accountant with over 30 years of financial and operational accounting experience.  

She was Controller for NeoWorld from its' inception in 1999 to its' sale in 2003.   Ann was Controller for Nextel Communications, Inc. from its inception in 1987 to 1996.  From 1996 to 1999 she was Controller of Circle of

Beauty; a wholly owned subsidiary of Sears Roebuck & Co.   Ms. Poh has a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from National Taiwan University and a MBA in Finance and Accounting from Columbia University.

 

Mark Fehrenbach, Vice President - Engineering
Mr. Fehrenbach brings with him a wealth of hi-tech engineering knowledge and was instrumental in developing the technology currently used with Pacific DataVision's NextMailSM and SkyLog® services.  His engineering experience extends over 20 years with various technology companies as an engineer, a consultant and in director-level positions.   Early in his career, Mr. Fehrenbach performed analysis, database programming and computer graphics programming at General Atomic and Megatek Corporation.  He directed software development for Accel Technologies during its startup phase, and also founded and operated an engineering services company.  Mr. Fehrenbach has extensive experience with computer graphics, embedded systems, networking and Windows application and driver development.   Prior to joining Pacific DataVision, Mr. Fehrenbach directed the product development and engineering services at Logic Innovations.  Mr. Fehrenbach holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Oregon State University.

 

Daniel F. Starr, Vice President Sales and Marketing
Mr. Starr has significant sales and business management experience in the wireless industry. For the past nine years, he was the founder and CEO of Corporate Wireless Group, a nationwide distributor of wireless products

and one of only five web based, Nextel National On-Line Authorized Representatives. Previously, Mr. Starr was the original Director of Sales and Marketing for the Chicago market of Nextel. He was considered instrumental in the building, development and launch of the Chicago Market. He was consistently ranked among the top of Nextel's sales management team and implemented the vertical marketing strategy along with serving on pricing, sales force automation and compensation task forces. Prior to Nextel he held sales and general management leadership positions in the national auto fleet leasing business to the Fortune 500. Mr. Starr has an undergraduate degree in Marketing from Northern Illinois University.
